Classic Deviled Eggs

The first time I remember having a deviled egg was at my older cousins Christmas party when I was around 10 years old, and I fell in love with them. I see deviled eggs as these classic party staples that tend to be forgotten and overlooked a lot of the times. This recipe is super easy and tasty and will be a great addition to your next party. Here's my super easy recipe that I use as a base to tweak when I'm feeling to change things up, like adding smoked salmon or bacon.

7 hard boiled eggs

1/2 tsp onion powder

1 tsp black pepper

2 tsp course ground mustard

1/2 tsp garlic paste

1 tsp lemon juice

4 tbsp mayo

1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)

paprika

Cut your eggs in half vertically and remove the yolks carefully being sure not to tear the whites. Refrigerate your whites while preparing your yolk filling.

In a bowl, break your egg yolks up and season with onion powder, black pepper and cayenne pepper. Combine mustard, garlic paste, lemon juice and mayo, stir until fully combined reaches a smooth consistency.

Place your yolk mixture in a piping bag and refrigerate for 10 minutes before piping filling into whites.

Pipe your yolk mixture into egg whites and sprinkle with paprika. Enjoy!

Love Always,

Nina
